Well, I’m giddy like a school girl. Yesterday my wife and I both got a new Palm Pre. This phone is slick and for those who don’t know is an iPhone competitor. The biggest draw for me was that you can run multiple applications at once. Which means I can listen to Pandora radio and browse the internet or check e-mail at the same time. I also have a PSP and it frustrated me to no end that it couldn’t do that.
The GUI and touchscreen controls are seamless and even though the keyboard is small, I much prefer it to a touchscreen keyboard. I haven’t been able to keep my hands off it and would recommend it. It also helps that the Sprint everything plan kicks butt in terms of price. Since I got a new gift, I would like to offer other Pre owners a gift with this photo I took in Tokyo. Feel free to use it as a Palm Pre Wallpaper.
