Aldrich Plan political cartoon

Published on October 19, 2011 with 1 Comment

In 1912 Alfred Owen Crozier wrote US Money vs. Corporate Currency to stand against the Aldrich Plan. That plan’s intention was to bring central banking to America. Fortunately, that plan did not pass but ultimately Woodrow Wilson ended up passing the Federal Reserve Act which has led to the corrupt system we currently have.

While this book is not specifically against the Federal Reserve Act it does call out a lot of the realities of a corporatism style of central banking. Reading pieces of literature like this from the past will help you understand how a lot of the things that are established in America were not passed with full support from Americans - contrary to what the public schools taught me as a child.

I want to remind readers that a government and private institution partnership is NEVER an example of capitalism and if anyone suggests that, I would strongly advise you correct them. Private/Public partnerships are an example of corporatism, corruption, and crony capitalism.

I’ve pulled out the political cartoons from this book for your enjoyment.

  1. Nice post, short and simple, to the point. The current fiat currency system will not be around that much longer. I believe the dollar has lost about 97% of it’s value, it will not take long for it to loose the other 3%.
