So, I haven’t done a personal update in quite sometime. I’d like to let everyone know what I am working on, what I have planned for the future and send out some love to my awesome clients.
Beardbrand
First thing – for my bearded audience – I am starting a new endeavor called Beardbrand where we are hoping to identify and target the urban beardsman. I will be migrating a lot of my bearded content over to that site and new beard related content will be pushed on that site not this one. I will continue to use Bandholz.com as my personal blog and share my thoughts on a capitalism, music, and my other passions in life.
I am super excited about this venture and hope to see success. We will be launching the new website on Monday and it is one of the coolest websites I’ve built in a long time. I really think y’all will love it. Watch the video above where I talk a little more about it.
Client work
I am totally fortunate to have met Ed Reese of Sixth Man Marketing here in Spokane, WA. Sixth Man Marketing is a SEO driven internet marketing company and Ed is able to build very strategic plans for clients and he’s been letting me do the nitty gritty work.
With Ed, I am working for Living Passages which is a Christian cruise company and they put on some incredible tours across the country. As many know, I’m not particularly religious, but I do love travelling. Working with Living Passages has given me the bug to hop on a plane to somewhere cool and explore the world. With Living Passages I’ve rebuilt their website, designed some maps, helped with SEO, and designed some email blasts. It has been a great experience.
I’ve also helped launch two websites for an internet TV show – one on wine and the other on beer. The pilots have just been launched and the show is gaining a lot of steam. It looks like it will be a grand time. You can view those shows over at Northwest Wine Night and Northwest Beer Night.
Groups
I am also trying to startup a couple of networking groups in Spokane. The one that seems to be gaining the most steam is Startup Spokane. I am working with Eric Dahl on this project and we are striving to build an action based community of entrepreneurs. We meet every other Monday for 3 hours to just focus on our startups.
I also am trying to startup the Spokane chapter of SoLE (Society of Libertarian Entrepreneurs) but it seems that the market is too small here in Spokane. If there are any libertarians out there in Spokane (that lean toward voluntaryists) let me know and we can get a meetup going.
The future
Who knows what is next, or where my life will go. I’m always up for new experiences and I’m trying to push myself to things I’ve never done before. The past few years have been challenging, but also rewarding. I really don’t know what’s next, but whatever it is, you can certainly read it on the website.
